This rocking horse was originally created for the designer's son, Morgan, who associates many fond memories with it.
Childhood memories are often based on details. Conversely, the absence
of detail stimulates fantasy and the conjuring of details that make
for memories. Morgan's Horse is assembled from geometric blocks of
lumber without details. It was designed entirely on the assumption
that Morgan would fill in the necessary details, thus creating
his personal memories.
